An Evening with Mary
Last week I was one of the lucky ones who spent an evening with Mary Christensen. At the Women and Leadership - A Perfect Match! seminar.
Mary was absolutely amazing, fully of inspiration, fun and energy. We listen to some great stories and had loads of laughs along the way. What also made this such a great event and time well spent was that Mary is so “down the earth” we got a massive injection of the realities of direct sales and party plan.
So girls and guys it is hard work and it’s a number game. There are no short cuts, you have to put in the effort and the work, you need to run with a fool proof process to ensure that you get your bookings and recruiting leads. The up side and this is big Ah Ha! it brings with it great rewards, loads of fun, copious amounts of self confidence, personal development and recognition.

What more could we want!
If you didn’t get to see Mary next time she is in town you have to go and see her!

What we learn:
Only 6% of women in the US earn more than $100,000 per year.
80% of them are direct sellers!
There is 43% of women in the workforce and only 3% in top job
The 7 skills that women have
1. Sharing – Sharing is great and we are all very good at it, however you need to know when to stop! We can tend to give away to much information.
2. Networking - we are truly in our comfort zone here. “Don’t be a predator”, make others feel good about themselves, this is not about YOU!
3. Mentoring – we love to nurture so coaching and mentoring our team is natural just dont be their mother!
4. Organise – we are so used to juggling loads of different things that being organised is one of our skills. Plan and build time into your day, week and month to work on your business!
5. Focus – Know where you are going and how you want to get there!
6. Multitasking – Set you goals and get the job done!
7. Belief – Believe in yourself and your business!
